The Wise Fool Workshop
- 1. Pick out one person you think you might most agree with
- 2. Approach this person, say hello and invite them to join you.
- 3. Working as a duo, choose someone you feel you might most disagree with.
- 4. Approach this person, say hello and invite them to join you.
- 5. Working as a trio, choose roles:
- one of you to act as problem holder
- one of you to act as a smart fool (e.g. innocent / newcomer / child)
- one of you to act as entrepreneur (i.e. creative who sees opportunities on every level)
- 6. Fool to direct fundamental questions to problem holder about her problem (5 mins)
- (problem-holder & entrepreneur both remain silent)
- (problem-holder answers questions only when Fool has finished the question)
- (entrepreneur writes down notes/ideas in silence)
- 7. Change roles and repeat exercise (5 mins)
- 8. Change roles and repeat exercise (5 mins)
- 9. Change roles and repeat exercise (5 mins)
- 10. Share what has been learned with everyone (max 1 min each player)
